What's Next?

My favorite new phrase has become "Being a Cinema Production major was really fun for about three years, but now I'm a senior and it's not so much fun."
Why? Because now I have to figure out what's coming next.
Most of my classmates are looking forward to Spring Break (Feb. 23 - March 3... hardly Spring but whatever) while I am just apprehensive. This Spring Break will be my time where I get the questions like, "What's next for you Taylor?" "Have you found a job yet?" "Where are you applying" and the lovely sentiment of "Wow it came fast didn't it."
Yes, yes it did.
I am excited for what is coming after college but right now I am very scared because truthfully I haven't applied to many places. Of course I have the typical excuses, "I'm too busy," "I really don't have the time right now," "I have too much homework," "I'll do it after I'm off set," "I'm too tired," "I still have to edit my resume," "I'll get to it over Spring Break."
But as much as my last post was about no doubts, I think another reason I haven't applied is because applying makes it real. Applying makes it real that I do not have the "safety-net" of college to come back to in the Fall. Applying for "real" jobs means I'm an adult now.
But I'm trying to keep a level head and be optimistic. I've just finished updating my resume (go check it out) and soon I will be launching this website.
I plan on applying to some jobs tonight and some more this weekend. I'm going to hold myself accountable for making time to apply.
Here's hoping!
