Taylor Rex is a filmmaker based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

 

She has been working in the film industry since 2020 and has experience working as an Associate Producer, Director/EP Assistant, Production Assistant, and is currently working as the Production Secretary for a feature film. ​

Taylor has directed and written several scripts, working to hone her crafts. Her short New Tables is currently in its festival run and has so far won an Honorable Mention for Best Drama Short at Indie Shorts Fest - January 2025 festival. 

 

In her spare time, Taylor is writing her second feature, a dramatic-comedy centered around a family's grief-stricken year. ​

In the near future, Taylor has hopes of working on sets as a Director's Assistant and Producer's Assistant. Her ultimate goal is to work as a feature film director and writer.

When she's not on set, Taylor loves reading, and listening to country music around a big campfire.
