In a short four months, I will be graduating college.

Sorry, I had to take a moment to comprehend that. Wow. Graduating college.

My journey started in the summer before 11th grade when I visited Point Park for a journalism summer camp. Three days in and we played with a camera used for broadcast production and after that day I knew I wanted to be a filmmaker. I came home and my mom said "finally."

I guess it took me awhile to figure it out but to everyone else it was obvious that I wanted to be (and should be) a storyteller, a filmmaker.

Five years later and I am just four short months away from graduating Point Park but with a degree in Cinema Production. For nearly four years I have been doing what I love, making films and writing stories.

One of my last assignments at Point Park will be to create a website to market myself, and as I tend to do, I thought I'd get an early start.

The blog, the blog is for me. I've always wanted to journal, but it never stuck. So, as I get ready to venture into the largest unknown of my life, I thought I'd try one more time. I'll keep it relevant to my career, I promise.

Pictured the lovely Mei Lu Barnum and Taylor Eriksen.
Set Photo 1 (Oct. 2015): A photo from my first 48-hour film festival and from my very first film that I directed at PPU, Lazarus. We wrapped at 5 a.m. and were back filming at 10 a.m. Glad to say that I've come far as a director since this photo.
